Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Can Tho (L) |
My Tho is located on the Northern banks of the Mekong river and is the closest town in the Delta area to Ho Chi Minh City, about 2 hours drive away. In the center of the town close to the river there is a large market that sells home accessories, enjoy a musical performance. Around the My Tho area you will find a maze of small canals that can be explored and four famous islands (Dragon, Phoenix, Turtle and Unicorn island). Other places to visit are the longan plantations. Returning to My Tho by motorboat. Afterward head off to Can Tho to spend the night at the hotel ( homestays are highly recommended ). |

Day 2: Can Tho Surrounds (B, L) |
|
Rising to the sounds of the Delta coming to life for another day, we breakfast and start our trip with a boat cruise on the sparking streams along the endless waterway of Mighty Mekong River. We visit the Cai Rang and Phong Dien floating markets. There will be hundreds of boats loaded with fruits, vegetables and fish jostling for trade. Sellers advertisers their wares by crying out across the waters. We visit the lush orchards and are treated to a delicious tropical fruits lunch. We stop at Chau Doc to see the crocodile farm on the way. Check in on arrival in Sam Mountain climb up to the top of the peak to see the surrounding Vietnam and Cambodia border. Visit the Chua Xu Pagoda and Trung Truc temple with the locals. Dinner and overninght in Chau Doc. |

Day 3: Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City (B) |
|
In the morning take a boat trip to visit the floating village, fish farm and small group of ethenics. Visit the Mosque and towel making workshop. Lunch before driving back to Ho Chi Minh City where on arrival at your hotel the tour ends.
